Camp Gifford is a non-profit organization. Your retreat and rental of Camp Gifford provides “camperships” – camper scholarships – for our summer campers. Children who cannot afford to pay full-price for summer camp pay a smaller amount and the rest is subsidized by a campership. When you host your retreat with Camp Gifford, everybody wins. You get to enjoy a memorable time in the beautiful Northwest outdoors, by a lake, with dozens the most fun activities imaginable; and the poorest of children in our area receive a life-changing summer camp experience that they otherwise could not afford, and forever will not forget. We do everything we can to keep our prices as low as possible, because more retreats and rentals means more children go to camp. Thank you for considering us. Retreat Packages include use of meeting rooms, audio/visual equipment, amenities, recreational facilities, 2 hours of high ropes and more (groups of less than 40 may be subject to sharing property – see below).

Equipment available
- Audio/Visual and Sound equipment is available at no charge with retreat packages. Consists of 20 channel Mackie board, EV speakers, monitors, microphones, overhead projector, 80” HDTV and more. Call for specific information. Portable audio systems, screens, white boards, projector and etc. available at no charge!
- A wide variety of meal selections are available when making up your retreat menu. Special meals and/or dessert items are available upon request – some requests may cost a little more.
- Limited linens are available for $8.00/set (includes sheets, blanket, pillow, towel and washcloth).
- WI FI (wireless internet access) is available at select locations all day.
Teambuilding and High-Ropes prices
Complete packages of Team Building or Confidence experiences, including use of all or some of the elements, are available at reasonable rates. Rates are dependent on number of participants, number of elements requested, number of staff required, amount of time allotted and etc. An average price might be $50.00 per element/per hour. For instance, to put a group of about 60 youth through four elements (rotating them through the elements in four groups – an hour at each element) the cost would be 4 elements x 50.00 x 4 hours = $800.00. Some elements require additional staffing, some less, prices will vary. Team building packages using games, initiatives and our comprehensive low ropes area start at about $20.00 per person for a half day and $35.00 per person for a full day (add $6.00 for lunch if desired). A minimum of ten participants, or the equivalent fee, must be paid. Training is available for groups of up to 15 people. For larger groups please call for information.
Camp Day Use Fees
Want to bring a group up for the day to do some low-ropes, team-building or just to hang out and have fun? Give us a call with your needs and we’ll try to work out a fair price. Prices will vary for mid-week, weekend and seasonal use. Overnight retreat groups will have priority use of some areas.
Cabin Use
Our cabins house from four to 14 people. The above rates include the use one cabin per eight guests (e.g., a group of 33-40 will automatically receive use of five cabins – 40/ 8=5. Five A-frames may be used, or three A-frames and two private cabins, etc.). Additional cabins are available at $30.00 per cabin per night (w/retreat package)
Sharing the Camp
Groups of less than forty persons are subject to sharing the facilities with other groups unless an amount equivalent to forty guests is paid (day use groups and groups purchasing housing only are always subject to sharing the camp). In the case of a shared camp the first retreat group to reserve the weekend will have first choice of meeting facilities, menus, meal times and etc.
Use of Kitchen
Our staff are more than happy to help you create the menu you want, though kitchen facilities are not available for use directly by rental groups. Please know that we are willing to work with your group on menu selection and price to ensure your satisfaction.
