Information on LOW ROPES AND TEAMBUIILDING

We would be happy to discuss the many ways these elements can be made available, affordable and useful to your group. You are welcome to contact us with any questions you may have.

Most high rope elements can be used at a cost of $50.00 – $75.00 per hour (with facilitators) during your retreat.  Prices vary for day use.

“Goliath” – 45ft 3-sided climbing tower

“Goliath” has two climbing sides, each with two belay points, for a total of four simultaneous climbers. Routes have varying degrees of difficulty to challenge a wide variety of climbers, from the first-timer to the veteran.

The third side is for a free rappel from the platform at the top of the tower. Climbers lean back and descend the first few feet of the wall on their feet, then have a free rappel down the remaining 35ft of the wall, controlling their own speed but safely belayed by trained staff.

Make “Goliath” part of your next retreat! You receive up to two hours use for free!

The Flying Squirrel

Imagine running straight ahead, full speed, and suddenly you take off like Superman.

That’s what The Flying Squirrel feels like.

Participants are hooked to a harness and rope, which is fed through a series of pulleys to the rest of the team who hold the other end of the rope. At the “squirrel’s” signal, the team pull the rope and squirrel begins to run. As the squirrel runs the team’s tension on the rope lifts the squirrel right off the ground! It looks spectacular and feels even better! You can even get inventive with your flight by running at angles during “lift-off.”

The Giant Swing

The name gives it all away – The Giant Swing does just what it sounds like it should.

Harnessed to a central pivot line, the “swingee” is pulled upwards by their team by a second rope attached to their harness. When the swingee reaches their desired height, they trigger a self-release mechanism which releases them from the second rope. There is an immediate drop, followed by a giant swing forward and upwards as the swingee is swung by the central pivot line. The adrenaline rush of the split second of free fall followed by the swing is a real kick!

Zip Line

Our new zip line is 670ft long! It extends the entire width of the meadow. As you launch yourself from the hill on the opposite side, your harness will carry you over the meadow in a beautiful and exhilarating ride. It’s a lot of fun for adults and it’s pretty exciting for kids. Come check it out!

Multi-Line Traverse AKA “Multi-Vine”

The basic challenge is to climb a tree to a height of 37ft, where a line connects the tree to another tree. In between are ropes for the challenger to swing from as they make their way across. Once at the opposite tree, the challenger turns around and comes back to the center. At the center they “fall” from the line, which is safely attached to a belayer who brings them down safely.

The multi-line traverse can be customized in many ways to make it as easy or as difficult and the challenger wants. Our facilitators have lots of interesting ways to challenge those who are most comfortable with heights

Can you say “Tarzan?”

Incline Log

Two trees, connected by an angled log at 35ft. You climb the tree and cross the log. Sounds easy, right?

Not so fast. The Incline Log is the most deceptively difficult of the high ropes courses! For those who find it easy, there are things we can do to bring you a fresh challenge.

You may be able to use this element at no charge as part of your package. Contact us today to make your stay memorable, exciting and a time of growth.
