Majors Kenneth & Jennifer Perine,
Corps Officers, Spokane Regional Command
That is a long and fancy title that means they are in charge of the work of The Salvation Army in the greater Spokane area. They are pastors first and foremost, they are ministry leaders, and all around outstanding people. Camp Gifford is owned and operated by The Salvation Army, and the Majors Perine provide hands on leadership, administrative oversight, and try to keep us all moving in the right direction.
Camp Director: ANNOUNCED SOON!
Dustin Richardson, Operations Director
Dustin attended Camp Gifford for the very first time the summer of 1991 where long lasting memories were made. The experiences he had as a camper propelled Dustin into a passion for working with youth, and what better place to transform lives than at Camp Gifford? For the last two decades, Dustin has worked at Camp Gifford where he has seen hundreds of lives transformed. From the very first week of wilderness in 1999 to now, where he fills the role of Operations Director, Dustin has provided the skills God has given to him to help minister to those at Camp Gifford. He truly believes that Christian summer camps are a very tangible way we are able to share Christ's love from generation to generation.
Elisha Roberts, Retreat Specialist
Starting out her professional career as a young adult, Elisha traveled the world on the National Development Team after securing the gold medal at the 2006 Jr. Olympics. Being part of the team gave her the opportunity to represent the USA internationally in Germany, England, Croatia and Brazil. This experience ignited a passion for meeting new people, learning their stories and growing a compassion for those who need their voices to be heard. As a Salvationist, Elisha knows how one simple encounter can impact a person for eternity. At The Salvation Army's Camp Gifford we strive for more than gold, we fight to change lives and ensure that each and every experience promotes the growth and understanding of Jesus Christ's sacrifice.
